What even is the MeatGun Mk1?
The MeatGun Mk1 is the first non-stop, automatic, meat injector to hit the shelves of Grill Or Be Grilled. How does the MeatGun Mk1 work?
The MeatGun Mk1 is a 5ml continuous injection meat injector. In its simplest form it is essentially a MEAT INJECTOR for BBQ, restaurants, catering, Thanksgiving, and other occasions. But a fancy one, at that. The fancier part about it is that the silicon hose leading off of the bottom of the injector is continuously pulling more injection mix into the reservoir of the MeatGun Mk1. This means you grip it like a gun or a hand exercise machine and the more you pump, the more injection comes out of the injection needle.
Continuous Meat Injection?
The following is an explanation of what occurs during every continuous pump of the MeatGun Mk1:
- When you squeeze your hand together to ‘pump’ the MeatGun Mk1, a plunger is pushed through the injection reservoir which evacuates 5ml of marinade injection from the needle tip of the injector.
- As you release the squeeze of your hand and the pressure on the injector handle, a spring in the injector pushes the plunger back to its starting position. The suction created by the spring pushing the plunger back is used to re-charge the injection reservoir with 5ml more injection mix which has been sucked through the siphon hose.
- Start back at Step 1 and continue injection until you are out of meat or injection mix.
